Go to a shop, try a few and then take the one that fits best, I guess you are looking for park or backcountry helmets, when you say you don't want to look retarded.

ya thanks i went to a few shops they only had a small selection of skiing helmets the rest were for boards and its for park

yep they do.. and you can adjust all the pads so they fit snug
