hey my computer went to shit-- im trying to do my stats homework

i need to use ms excel but clearly dont have it.

download free trial or OpenOffice has every aspect of excel, except it's free.

use libre office. If it doesn't suit your needs, then you shouldn't use excel either.

you have been able to do this since like forever, on like every spreadsheet package. It might have had a different name, which could be daunting for an excel user, but essentially the same functionality was always there. On libre office it's even called "pivot table". Paying for office is such a waste of money it's unbelievable.

I understand that office suites are for simple-minded folk, but seriously how dumb do you have to be to pay hundreds of dollars to get essentially the same program as libre office?

i have been a strong advocate of open source

BUT

my capstone level MIS and CSC courses would be much easier to do VBA on excel versus libre calc
