+K FOR BUMPS!
First, and most beat up pair of Rossignol FKS 155's- $175 shipped OBO
These bindings were only used for a few weeks before I stopped racing, but during those few weeks I inflicted a good amount of wear. They have the bomb proof metal toe pieces, but the half moon pieces on the heal piece are plastic. The brakes are 80mm, but they really aren't hard to bend. See http://vimeo.com/4218404#at=0 for instructions on how to do it yourself. The guys at my local ski shop said Rossignol will actually sell replacement FKS brakes now, so if you do end up breaking them down the road, you are no longer screwed (it used to be a warranty issue, and they wouldn't warranty old bindings).
The toe pieces have marks from resting my shoulders on my ski poles, but these marks do not impair the performance/functionality of the bindings at all.
The heal pieces have deep scratches from taking my skis off with my poles, and one of them goes all of the way through the first layer of plastic. This hole does not effect the DIN indicator, nor does it seem to let any water into the binding. If it really concerns you, I can fill the hole with epoxy and put a little bit of grease on the deepest part of the hole so it doesn't seize.
Second, and less beat up pair of Rossignol FKS 155's- $185 shipped OBO
I only used these bindings for a few weeks before I stopped racing, so they have been lightly used. They have the bomb proof metal toe pieces, but the half moon pieces on the heal piece are plastic. The brakes are 80mm, but they really aren't hard to bend. See http://vimeo.com/4218404#at=0 for instructions on how to bend them yourself. The guys at my local ski shop said Rossignol will actually sell replacement FKS brakes now, so if you do end up breaking them down the road, you are no longer screwed (it used to be a warranty issue, and they wouldn't warranty old bindings).
A few little scuffs on the toe pieces:
A few scrapes on the heal pieces:
Brand New Rossignol FKS 185's- $285 shipped OBO
These are the exact same thing that retailers are selling for $400, just different colors and 80mm brakes. They have the bomb proof metal toe pieces, and metal half moon pieces. See http://vimeo.com/4218404#at=0 for instructions on how to bend the brakes yourself, or just ask the shop to do it when you get them mounted. The guys at my local ski shop said Rossignol will actually sell replacement FKS brakes now, so if you do end up breaking them down the road, you are no longer screwed (it used to be a warranty issue, and they wouldn't warranty old bindings).
