I have had a pair of Salomon Suspects (2010 ones) for the past few years and am thinking of getting a new pair consider they are 161 and ive grown alot. Currently 5'11" and 185 lb. I ski groomers often and hit a decent amount of jumps. Boxes the odd time but trying to get into rails a little more often. I get pow less than I like to but plan to hit more. Spend alot of time messing around in trees and natural kickers. Any suggestions on ski length and more importantly skis? I have had an eye on Armadas but dont know what would be best.
On a side note. Suggested sale price on the suspects? Awesome condition. Drilled twice.
ahh thanks bud! i so torn between the two! i got the domains last year and ruined them on dryslope so replaced them with the abang! WORST CHOICE EVER! but the domains were sick when i had them even though they wer slow on groomers
sorta did the same thing this year when I ditched my 2010 161 salomon dumonts I got the nordica soul riders cause I was looking to hit more powder and natural kickers but didn't want to abandon park skiing either. Oh and I got 176's and I'm 5 11
Hey maybe i can help!! i got this years domains and it was not a good choice!! there so good on rails and jibs and so buttery its crazy but the bases suck ass and there the slowest ski ever like its bad and they suck on groomers and i love groomers but this ski makes me not wanna go on them. because i have to try so much harder because they suck and there so slow !! if you gonna be in the park 97% like i am there alright i guess but i would definitely pay the extra cash and get the chronics i tryed my boys and they were so good for everything jumps rails boxes and awesome in the woods and on the groomers so go for the chronics
BTW: the Domains top sheet and construction suck! I am ALREADY buying the 2013 Armada Halos which is the best ski which I'm stoked on! but good luck get the new chronics there so dope

I can get domains cheap as i know the owner of a shop. The shop doesnt stock the chronics so i would have to spend another $130 dollars to get them!
I spend 95% of the time in the park lapping rails and small jumps. I also ski my local Snowdome (i live in England :/) so i am not sure that the chronics are worth that extra money. Especially as i have some allmountain skis for pow and groomer days!
I wouldn't trade my chronics for anything in the world, if your looking for a buttery ski to solely use in the park but mainly on boxes and rails domain will be good. If you like hitting jumps, jibs and skiing trees and groomers chronic will be good, its a good versitile ski that you can use just about anywhere
I tail tapped a gaper who was standing on the knuckle yesterday. It was a nice firm smack right to the helmet, definitely the high point of my day.
3 dudes living together with a ferret...really hope I don't end up like that when I'm 30.
