Starting spinning on bigger jumps

So since 2 weeks I am doing speed check for a 50 feet jump, and I want to spin a 360 on it.
I can do 3, 5, 7 and 9 on 30 feet jumps.
But I just visualize it and dream of it, and when I am about to pop of the lip of the jump my brain is like saying to me: " You can't spin on that, you will overspin!"

What I should do, Just go for it and fall?

speed check it first obviously. then send a nice shifty straight air. maybe even do that a few times to get a feel for the jump, then just float a nice 3. worst comes to worst you overrotate and land a 5.

if you can spin 9's on 30 foot jumps you'll be perfectly fine spinning a 3 on a 50 foot jump homie. just trust yourself.

^ Couldn't have said it better. And always know that with a 3, you have a little bit of leeway with landing. You don't have to land exactly 360°. You can still stomp a 370 or 350.
But it's a very good idea to straight air it for a good 4 or 5 runs before you spin on it.

yeah if you're a pussy. But for real there isn't a set amount of times you should straight air and what not, just whenever you're comfortable with the jump.
