Being out there skiing every day, good or bad, just playing around with friends, with no contests or filming- that is the real spirit of skiing for me. that is why i started skiing, and if i lose those moments that is what will make me stop skiing.

stickers on skis suck unless you're skis are ugly or unless you're sponsorised. if not, stickers on skis or helmet suck. should better buy beautiful skis or helmet.no?

I wanna sticker my sticks up but I got 2003 skogens and it just doesn't look right cause of the way the graphic is. Id love to have some T Halls for that, like a fuckin blank canvas.

I've got a 'Ride Snowboards' die-cut sticker on my ARV's right now...just to make the kiddies in the liftline think, and I've also got a 'got KT' sticker on one of the tails. But the key to stickers is they have to look like they belong. They have to flow with the grafixxx otherwise they look whack.

i hate stickers on skis usually... but if you're gonna do it and want it to last, i suggest trying a coat of clear nail polish over top, or over the edges. that shit seals anything.

Usually i get new skis every two years or so and for some reason i usually sticker them up when i am on my last season with them. Mayby its that i'm bored with teh graphics.

mine came off but left the adhesive so they are sticky and gooey. Goo gone no luck the topsheet just repells anything and wont let it soak in.

^that happened to me but the brush in my sink has a plastic ridge on it that worked perfectly for scraping the crap off, now I've got new stickers on my skis and they look pimp

I found a Spitfire sticker clinging for dear life on a bench a the top of a lift (on a snowy day at Mammoth), put it on, went home, covered it very carefully with clear packing tape and three years later it's still there in perfect condition.

In other words... packing tape.

if you want stickers to stay on better, hold the ski up side down and run a lighter along the sticker, but not too long or else there will be burn marks
i did this on a super ghetto sticker and it stayed on for pretty much the whole year

ok, stickers are whack unless they work with the graphics. those tms up there are a great example of a bad sticker job. sorry, but they are really ugly. first, make shure the ski is clean. rubbing alcahol, works great. lay the sticker on, and use a hair dryer, especially if you are trying to work around contures. it heats the glue up and makes the vinyl more plyable. oh yeah, use stickers that are printed on vinyl, not paper. thats why they fall off. once you heat it up, squeegee it out, and get it on there. will never come off, unless you want it too. but i think some good custom stencils look way better than stickers.

use a hair dryer and heat up the sticker when u put it on, it heats up the glue and the sticker will never come off by itself

stickers add character, shows what you like not some design you HAVE to buy. i have stickers for different stuff other than skiing, mainly MJ related bands or some symbol relationg to MJ like a spade or crown.

if noone used stickers then all skis would be the same.

its kinda that question of, why do all snowboards have differnt designs? you may find a few alike but for the most part there are 100's more graphics than on skis.

so i use stickers to distinguish skiers really

you should put stickers on the bases of skiis only, especially ones in the shape of feet, so your tracks look like you ran down the mtn.

i put stickers on my 04/05 pe's, but they are all b&w mainly, i just fucked em up though cuz i sprayed a fallen stencil on the tail... it looks like shit. pics soon...

the whole key to put anything with an adhesisve is that it sould be done in a dry and room temp. room. These are the prime sticking conditions. I bought a sticker in keystone and put it on my skis outside and within the day it was gone
