Easiest inverted or cork trick to throw

My friend and I made a decent sized jump in his backyard and we want to start throwing bigger tricks into some fresh pow. We want to up our game so what are the easiest corks or inverted tricks to do?

Backflips are the easiest to land and generally all around good one to start. Front flips are probably the least scary and most forgiving to try.


For a frontflip you can pretty much just roll roqfard and land on your back the first time or two. Backy's take commitment but they aren't hard.


If you try an inversion commitment is key. If you can do a backy on a tramp or driving board you can do one on skis, just make sure you get at least 4 feet of air off the jump probably and just get the feel for the pop in your head. Hit the jump a few times and imagine that with the huck.


when you throw it you have go back with your head. When you throw your arms and weight back but try and keep your head forward last minute is when things get sketchy.

If you try a backflip MAKE SURE YOU COMMIT. If you commit you'll probably land it within your first 5 tried. A lot of people land there first or second try.

I'd defiantly say a backflip. I first learned a frontflip and it is way more forgiving and easier to commit to, like that NS before me said. I'd try one or the other then build your trick armory from there

I would say a flat 3 but that's just my opinion. For any I would recommend practicing on tramp prior to taking it to snow.

I found lincolin loops aren't the hard if u practice on a tramp. 4 som reason I have a mental block on back flips

Backflip, Lincoln, Cork 5 or 7. Then maybe Rodeo 5.

Fronts scare the piss out of me on snow. Throw them on the tramp all day but on snow, mental image of just hucking my face into the ground really ruins it for me.

It will depend to a degree on how you've built the jump. If it's really poppy then backward-heading tricks like backies (duh) and Rodeos will be easier. If it's flatter it might be easier to cork a spin or throw a front/lincoln.

No, no, no, no, no. In my opinion, lincoln loops are the easiest on a trampoline and backflips are after that. It's the other way around on skis because backflips adjust for the landing, but lincolns don't.

i'm pretty scared of bflips on snow, never landed them. lincolns are dece if you just pick a point in the distance, however its totay different wiht like 15-20 pounds of gear on your feet, just make sure you dont rotate when your coming out of the flip. fronts are scary but pretty easy IMO. honestly if you have a pow landing just spin hard and grab lead, you'll find cork 7s are easier to land than cork 5s usually

i think misty 5 could possibly be the safest, and quite easy especially if you can do them on tramps already. front flips are really easy to do too and you can do them with like no air. Backflips are the easiest to do out of the three once you have them but they can be a bit intimidating at first.
