I see that a lot of people can't remember people's names. Around my town where I go to school, almost everyone I meet or know just says "I'm not good with names, but I'm good with faces..."

I used to really good with names and phone numbers many years ago, but now I'm sort of like everybody else with names, can't remember as well. I kinda notice that I don't pay as much attention to them when they say their name or I just don't try and remember.

I just don't like when someone introduces themselves and after/during you say your name they say "I probably won't remember that..." Then why introduce yourself?

numbers. for some reason they get all backwards in my head. ill look at a phone number on paper, go to punch it into my phone, and i always fuck up. i dont know how. i have to really focus hard on a series of numbers so that i can remember them in order.

Im bad at keeping conversations going with people who are purely "talk" based. If someone likes to joke around or be sarcastic then yea ill keep talking to them, but i run out of stuff to ask.

im bad at: remembering names (good with faces though), pretty much all sports that don't involve boards (my roommate plays safety for our football team - just taught me how to spiral a few weeks ago, im 20), i pretty much always puke when i drink more than 8-10 beers (frequently, though its usually tactical not sickness), and in terms of skiing i land front 4s like 1/10 times. not even a hard trick. got back 4s on lock. go figure.

Knowing when to do a job fast or when to take my time and make it perfect. I was a barrista and i'v had many people come up to me and tell me I make the best latte they've ever had, but i'v also had people tear me a new one for taking too long.. Oh, and my handwriting isn't even legible.

i hold the egg in one hand. Pan handle in the other. I try to swiftly crack the egg but normally i dont hit it hard enough for fear of it breaking and ruining my morning. I then have to make lighter follow up hits.

I know what to do. I just never do it cuz i dont want my egg to spill out over my stove. Instead i have to shovel out shell bits with my knife.

Then try using the knife to crack the egg instead of cleaning up the shell mess. Egg in one hand, pan on stove, butter knife in dominant hand. Then you can crack the egg with might, without worrying about it dripping onto your pan/stove cause it will drip into your pan. That's how I taught my kids until they learned how to do it via a flat surface.

Names for sure. I either forget, or remember and second guess myself thinking it's not actually their name.

Always pick out egg shell with the remaining piece of egg shell which is in your hand, so much easier than anything else.
