Marker griffon binding help!

Hey ns,

So today was my second day on my 181 ON3P Jeffreys with marker Griffons and I noticed a problem with my bindings and would like some advice. So the first day was great, no problems at all and everything went well. I go to ski today and right about half way through the day, I noticed some seriously loud squeaking on my front right toe piece. I didn't notice any movement but some really loud squeaking.
I have Full Tilt Dropkicks from last season and they are in perfect shape and the toes on them are not worn at all. I need some advice on what to do. I really want to avoid second mounting my skis because they are only two days old! Thanks.

Brand new bindings? Ive had two pairs of griffons and they both squeaked like assholes. it didnt cause me any problems though

yea brand new bindings, only skied on them twice (this being my second day)

They are 2013 so I just read that the new toe pieces have height adjustment, do you guys think that the height might be off which is causing the squeaking?

Your best bet is just to take them back to the shop which mounted them and have them take a look. Messing with bindings is not worth it unless you know exactly what your doing.

I would not worry though, should be something simple.

alright I will, I'm on a ski trip for the next couple of days so that's why I'm kinda worried. You think I should still ski on them?

I have experienced similar problems on different bindings and eventually deduced it was due to snow/ice being packed into my boot and binding elements leading to increased pressure being generated... Resulting in squeaking. Pretty simple and as long as I really cleaned off my boots/bindings after a big fall or boot pack there was no problem.

just take them to any shop in the town your in now. Most shops will not charge you just to check the bindings and the settings.
