Highly dependent on the rail.

If it's a tube, nothing can beat a lipslide to nosepress.

If it's a down rail, tail presses are definitely better, but mostly because a nose press on a down would be insanely hard

i'm all about when at the very end of the rail the skier rocks onto his noses, then rocks back to his tails and slides of the rail and lands smoothly.

perfect example at 2:00 of this video (someone embed please?)

the trick before 2:00 is also incredibly dope as well.

thats hard but i think it depends on what it looks like. If its clean then nose, but sometimes it looks like people just do them because they are trying to stay on.
