Well, here we go at my 5th attempt at making a better than complete shit thread.

Anyway,
I'm currently doing a research paper on this and wanted to know what the opinions of NSG are. Should the US drinking age (21) be lowered to 18 (or lower, whatever your opinion is.) ?
Discuss.
Hopefully this won't turn into a Spiderman thread like last time.

i think the idea of people having civilized drinks in europe is becoming rapidly outdated. The UK has a massive problem with binge drinking, i have friends in France who say that they are beggining to face a similar problem, and from what i've heard it is very similar with other European countries. does this mean i want the drinking age to be raised here? FUCK NO!
although it varies from place to place (more often school to school) i've been drinking from about 14 ( once or twice a month) and in no way do i regret that, i understand better now my limits, and what having a fucking horrendous hangover feels like, and to be honest i've had some fucking fun times whilst under the influence. so yeah its a good thing to have a lower drinking age in my opinion.

I live in France, here it's 18.. Quite the good age for legal wasted nights.
