Where do you keep your pass?

where do you guys keep your pass while skiing? i normally just have mine on one of those pass holders with the retractable string, but thinking about switching to a lanyard this year. i tried the little pass holder with the clear cover in my jacket but it wouldnt scan through it..you?

this is where I put mine, but I also enjoy the luxury of summit county scanners where they just wave the scanner in your general direction.

anywhere i want because mammoth knows if you have a pass anywhere on your torso. But at other mountains a tie a lanyard around one of my beltloops and put the pass in my pocket and pull it out when they ask for it

Just in my pants pocket, PC has the big turnstyle scanners, pretty nice not having to take it out.

When I go out west where they have those scanners, I keep it in my right glove. There's a little slit on the topside that velcros shut. That way I can motion like I'm punching the scanner for maximum steeze.

last year i had one of those clear pockets but this year i have to coats so ill probably keep in on a lanyard

my orage jacket has a little incognito slot where you pull a tab and the pass holder comes out then snaps back in because it's held by elastic. works really well and i never have to worry about losing it

I have it on one of those retractable things attached to one of my belt loops. I never use a belt, so it's not in the way, and my jacket usually covers it up so it's not flapping in the wind.

Pull out plastic thing on my armada jacket. Don't know how it works with scan guns cause we don't use those stupid fucking things where I work anymore. They don't even scan half the time and are way to slow to use.

In my Saga's left arm zip pocket.

The majority of lift scanners in Europe are magnetic, so I don't even have to remove it.

they're x-ray pass scanning machines put up at resorts to give all of the skiers and snowboarders cancer.

My mountain makes you use a day pass on a wicket even if you have a pass, so usually on some pocket zipper

On a lanyard that is attached to my pants pocket zipper. That way I don't forget it if I wear a different jacket

we have no scanners at my hill, its purely visual checking. they have some rule that your pass MUST be visible at all times, so the lifties sometimes give me shit for me having it in my jacket.

i always tell them that if they give me a new one for free(rather than the fee, $40) when mine falls off in the park, then sure, i'll put it on the outside.

On a Keychain ring through a belt loop.  Stays there under my jacket at most of the Summit County resorts, and I just pull my jacket up to get it scanned at A-basin.  Plus, it's on my pants so I don't forget it if I wear a different jacket.

Usually my wallet because if I keep it in my jacket I might not always bring it, and one time I kept it in my pants and I ended up skiing in khakis, shit always happens. But it's a small mountain, lifties recognize me/now I am on the park staff

Yup those do work well, thats what i used when i skied orage last year. But dont pull it past the thing or its a pain in the ass to get it to line back up and retract, not sure what ill do this year prolly just the pocket right above my left wrist in my saga jacket.

keep mine on a lanyard with park passes to places I frequent, I keep the lanyard in my pants pocket. I barely need to take it out though cause they don't often check passes at my hill and also I work there so the lifties know me anyways.
