Ski magazine is industry standard. Sorry you might not like that, but it is the truth. It is what resorts look to be placed on, it is what vacationers look to for next years ski trip, it is what everyone but the jibbers and powder hounds base a lot off of. Jibbers and powder hounds don't rake in the cash that much. The other 90% of people, that eat, stay, lodge, buy, etc... a lot of those look to Ski Mag

Killington is one of the most well known and famous ski towns in the east. The mountain itself as far as steeps, snow, size, lifts, even location, is all better than Mt. Snow. You could argue location. Mt Snow also has no infrastructure as far as hotels, town, night lift. Killington has all of that and more. The only thing Mt Snow has for it is maybe terrain parks and grooming/beginner programs/trails.

deer valley is absolutley amazing.

in before people rant on how its to ritzy and fancy

powder everywhere all the old people get on late and leave early. Perfect groomers to rip on. Woods are prety good great spots everywhere. Steeps and chutes are pretty fun actually. No snowboarders

ive never been to squaw so i cant speak on it, but id say whist beats vail in pretty well all aspects. ok their snow is lighter...thats about the only thing i can think of thats better though haha.
