Parents taught me when I was five at Mt. Bachelor, Oregon. I havent been back there in years.. I remember I had my ticket on a respectable cord and I had to scan it every time I got in the lift line, which was pretty fun. And I remember thinking the chairlift was scary as shit

Those in my front yard

First real time was on Sundance Slope at Sunday River. I had Rossi straight skis that were maybe 50 CM. Parents took me out, I rode some kind of portable magic carpet the used to have opposite the handle tow and skied under these giant ring things they had put in the snow. I did this like 4-5 times then went in. That's all I remember.

Heavenly Ski Resort at 2 years old. Screamed my head off with the biggest smile. Got to the bottom and couldn't stop yelling more!

haha but seriously Kimberley at the tender age of three. got some pretttttyyyyy awesome home footy of me just falling over repeatedly. interestingly enough I'm still getting the same kind of footage now.

Belleayre Mountain, in New York.

Now I ski Mammoth most weekends, and occasionally Mt. Baldy.  A lot different than Belleayre.  I did my ski bum years at Squaw, which was pretty different, although by that time I had already experienced plenty of big western mountains.

I remember being 8, and looking up at the diamonds of Belleayre.  They looked like they were straight down.  I guess my version of steep has changed over the years.

I learned when I was 3. My parents took me to a local mtn called Blue Mtn in Ontario. I have loved it ever since.

Bradford MA and theres a story so listen up
first time skiing I remember it so well, I was 5. I was in my group of about four other kids and I remember falling on the bunny hill and my mother who did not know how to ski grabbed the rope tow to try to go up the hill to save me. note: she was not wearing skis. she got dragged 50 feet up and dumped and wiped out. People were like what the hell is that lady doing? who's mother is this? and I was just like i dunno.

parents started me when i was 2 at loon- tried to put me in daycare and all i did was cry, so they rented the smallest pair of skis and boots they could find and took me with them...16 years later im still loving it, and im still crying when im not on the mountain

Learned to ski when I was four at Mammoth CA. Definitely couldn't appreciate the awesomeness of it all like I can now. I honestly don't have much of a recollection of the first trip either, but now the smell of hot cocoa reminds me of skiing

Thollon, France. My grandad had a chalet there. Great times. We would come out with the family. I would just rip the mountain with me 3 other cousins all day. There was no way we could get lost anyway haha
