Oakley Blue Iridium Lens Help

Is the blue iridium lens actually a mirrored blue or is it just that orange/brown lens that you can see through with a hint of blue? I'm looking to get blue iridium but i'm seeing mixed colors on the internet? So is this lens mirrored blue or no?


For example these are the same lens type.

why am i seeing a difference? Does the lens adjust to the lighting?

It looks just like the bottom photo. I have em and its my favorite oakley lens and ive had most oakley lenses. It sucks super hard in flat light though, good mostly sunny/bright lens

it just looks different because o the context of the lens. Wearing em on your face they will look like the bottom photo to anyone who looks at you

yea. The dude holding them is allowing light to hit both sides of the lens which makes it look lame. If he was wearing a black shirt it would look different

So how are the blue iridium for all around? Whats probably the best all around with some mirrorness lens? I was thinking Pink Iridium but when it's sunny i heard they are pretty sucky. Then i hear Blue Iridium and they are bad in lower light times. Right now i have HI yellow but they got scratched. Was looking for something that doesn't kill my eyes as much in sun.
So all around good lens with some mirrorness?

Blue iridium is a dark lens, but it boosts contrast better than other dark lenses like black or gold iridium, so I would say its best for sunny and brighter grey days. If you're skiing somewhere that doesn't get a lot of sunshine, H.I. Persimmon is the way to go.

Wish H.I. Persimmion had some mirror effect going, oh well, so that's probably best for here. Mostly foggy and stuff but once in a while pretty nice and sunny out.

It does have some mirror to it, and it's decent in sun.
