having a good release can be looked at as a refreshing way to take a break from your day, a form of relaxation, or even stimulation. regardless- it is of inconvenience to every bro out there. after blowing your load do you ever really sit back and think damn that was worth it? or do you say shiiiiiit, imma be late for class, work, whatever... ? it's all about the rate of reward

I agree with what your saying but its more about the porn itself and the ease of access. it creates dopamine surges which tell your body that the simple gesture of clicking is better than actualy working hard for that dopamine with women or activities. since you have such a high and constant flow of this dopamine, your body sees most other things as being boring. This is where quitting gets your levels back in order and makes you more outgoing and enjoy life a little more.

first week, had a couple urges and fought them off. Called one of my lady friends over and wham, got it taken care of. I think even after a week of not doing it, it got my confidence up. I have been trying to score with this nice lady friend for quite sometime. And the best part is she wants to come over next weekend. Awwww yeah!!!

joining in here. I've noticed that I have a huge lack of focus and loss in interest. My situation is kinda weird though since I live with my girlfriend. I've noticed lately our sexy time has been subpar so I think that has given me the jolt I need. I'm also at the age now where my metabolism has slowed down so I'm gaining weight. hopefully if I start quitting I will get some motivation to get off my growing ass and work out a bit.

So heres my update. In early August I went from being a virgin to having sex almost everyday for the rest of the month. After only a few times I was lasting well over an hour without a condom and a couple times I didnt even finish. This isn't even me trying to brag either, me and my girl were both pretty annoyed with it. Then I came across this thread and went from jerking and watching porn daily to stopping watching porn completely and only jerking off once. I visited my girl at college this weekend and it was the best sex we've had. I was lasting like 30-40 minutes each time which we decided is basically perfect length. She came twice too which is a first so I have nothing but good things to say so far. I havent really felt any of the neurological stuff though, but that also wasnt my motivation for making the change.

So I read this thread a few weeks ago when it first popped up and watched the video. I really only beat it 2 or 3 times a week and look at porn every once in a while but I decided to choke the chicken one more time and give it a go.
