Skiing with a flannel?

HintedTropTo the issue of water absorbency in the cotton: any thoughts on waterproofing it? I'm thinking of creating an entirely unique outfit for visiting some millionaire friends in bend, or. this upcoming winter. I'm creating a ski outfit from the ground up. I'm starting with a dope white steve madden (from ross) belt that I own, I look good in plaid flannel, and I plan to spend less than $5 (easy: mackelmore practically consulted me for his thrift shop video), from head to toe. Already have a can of waterproofing spray, borrowing equipment. Want to make a good impression lol.. Thanks, anybody who's still out there...

Saga insulated flanel is real nice for the more springy days or any day its not snowing or raining :)!

Keegan kilbride looks kinda goofy wearing a huge hoody underneath a huge flannel, but it can look dank when it flops around on a big jump/rotation. Delorme in his turbo segment did a sw 5 on a big jump where his unbuttoned flannel looked awesome flopping around in the wind.
If its warm enough to have a thin shirt under your flannel id say go for it. But if you have to wear a big sweatshirt under it to stay warm it kinda destroys the unbuttoned flannel aesthetic
