no there is a big difference. if ur strictly park and pipe go with lines, but if your going out into the back country go with pocket rockets. the stomps are ok but ur way better off with the lines or the p.rs.

stomps are good.
Alot of people don't like Atomic twin tips before even trying them or seeing them in action. It's because of their race image. You won't be dissapointed if you get em

Picked up some Sugar Daddy's yesterday to test the weight. I couldn't even feel the things. What the hell kind of core is Atomic using, hollow? I don't think I've ever seen lighter fat skis. Anyways, do you want park skis, pow skis (I can help you there, thanks to my recent searching), or all mountain, or...?

I'm not a big fan. But I know people who have them and don't hate them. Durability might be a concern (cap construction).
If you can get 'em cheap, why not? If nothing else, keep them for your urban skis.

Stomps are sweet, and they know no limits in the park, despite the fat waist. Sick ski all around, except for super tight bump lines. They are real nice in the trees/powder.

actually, atomics are some of the best built skis out there. they are built like a brick shithouse. and yes, they do actually use a hollow core. they use two hollow n shaped rods, that thin and taper out towards the tips. they are carbon fiber or titanium, depending on the ski. the freeride skis are Cf, cause the fiberglass and titanium ones are definatly not light. i belive the rest of the skis filler foam, but the 'core' of the skis is the two beams. really tight construction, and really tight skis. i would pick a pair up in a second if they fit my ridding style.
