I have done my reasearch but still need some help

So I am looking for new skis, I am 5'9 140 lbs and ski at smugglers notch, I now own a pair of ar7s and want a more rail oriented ski, They will be used for 70% rails and 30% jumps the jumps will be no bigger than 40 ft, the skis I am looking at are the halo, alpha 1 t hall filthy rich and punx, I like the idea of rocker but I dont know if it is right for me, I want a ski that is super light and poppy that is fast and durrable, and buttery I like the idea of rocker because every once and a wile we get a foot or two of snow over night at suggs and I think rocker would be nice for that plus it would be more buttery in theory Plus k for any help, thanks

Rocker is the new 'norm' in skis. Soon it's going to be difficult to find a ski without it, and for good reasons. Rockered skis are all around more fun.
That being said, I think the Filthy Rich would be a good ski for what you described. It's fully symmetrical, so it'll kill it on rails and ride switch pretty well. It's got that rocker to make them fun and buttery, and the flex is perfect.


Plus, it's ON3P so you know they're quality.

yeah sounds like it's down to alpha/halo or FR

The FR is apparently a little softer than the alpha/halo, and durability is maybe a bit better from what i've heard. I ride halos and love them, they are a stiffer ski but the rocker gives them lots of play

If I were you I would make the decision on price. If you can find a pair of last years halos for 1/2 off in your size, go for that for sure, the difference between those and the FRs won't be $300 worth. But if you can't, or you just have money to burn, buy the FRs i'm sure either way you'll be happy

i ride halos and for your weight they would be a little stiff I'm 511 and 180 so its easy for me to push em around for butters. Other than that they are a great ski and i would def recommend them
