wayyy to much slow mo. looks like youre fiming with a go pro so maybe you could look into some external mic and recording system to add some audio. really adds to the overall feel of edits.

other than that it was an entertaining edit. keep working.

To much slow mo? I tend to disagree, and yes the edit is called lyman GoPro edit so yeah i am filming on a GoPro, i usually film on my 7d and i have found that my video mic makes a huge difference.

I'll back him up on too much slo-mo, just because you have 60p and can make it look good, it doesn't mean it's any easier to watch in every shot.

Other than than that I enjoyed it, as said above, throw some color correction in and it'll look even better.

The skier was real good though, what's his name?

Every time you slow it down your give the effect less impact. You slowed part of every shot down which seemed unnecessary.

If you want to get exposure on NS, upload it directly to the video section. No one will watch the vimeo embed anymore.

I'm not trying to be a dick here, but just because you have a sick skier to film, that doesn't make a sick edit. I enjoyed watching the skiing, but the rest was pretty horendous. Your cuts were good, but apart from that there's not many nice things I could say about it.

Footage was shaky, correct your colors, use a different song and get some filler shots or something.
Sorry if I sound harsh, I don't want to.

This was from 7 laps at Breck all in one day, just extra footage i had that i really had never intended to make into an edit, I didnt really want to spend the time color correcting GoPro footage, didnt really post it to get a critique because i can watch it and agree with everything you just said, but come on i like the song! just take it for what it is, its a GoPro edit not really focused on the quality of the footage but the skiing is sick

from what your posts have been sounding like, it seems like you want to "get the edit" out there. maybe i misinterpreted what you were saying. did you want to get the "edit" itself out or did you want to get your friend whos skiing out? two big differences

Wayyyy to much slowmo like everyone said. Choose a different song, comeon now, something more original then rap music. Skiing was good the rest theres not much to say. Just follow cam after follow cam.

You are really defensive, if you post in media and arts your going to get critiqued and just take in what you want to help improve your editing and filming.
