How easy is it to get a weed card?

I always hear about legal kush in the states but i mean does everyone have a card? like is it hard to get one? and to those who do, how do you pick up, how much does it cost, etc? bud is pretty accessible overhere and you can smoke publicly just about anywhere aswell as grow legally in switzerland. i dont know how strict it is in the states tho... i hear good things about Canada.

Only some states permit medical marijuana. Colorado being one of them. I got my card two weeks ago with a legitimate diagnosis. The doctor's office I went specialized in Medical Marijuana and didn't ask for any medical records.

I know in California you can get one easily just by walking down venice beach in LA

I could be wrong since I haven't looked into getting a card in about 4 years, but I think in Denver you need to pay for a Dr. appointment and the card which could be about $200-400 and I've seen ads for like $160 an O, but its probably cheaper if you know the people working there. Apparently its pretty easy to get a card, some friends of mine got it for ADD because their medicine makes them lose their appetite, another friend got one for "chronic back pain" which is probably just a load of shit. I think I would only get one if I got cancer and wanted to be blazed until I died, its pretty much the same as street prices though.

In cali you literally walk in to a "doctor" office and he asks if you have any symptoms weed could alleviate, you say insomnia, and bam, medical card.

In washington you actually need medical records showing you have a symptom weed could help and then you get your card.

Oil can range from $30-70 a G in Boulder dispensaries. Depending on quality/specials.

If you pay $70 for an 1/8 for anything you are getting fucked. In Durango it is 35 an 1/8.

I think denver is the place for bud, $25 and you can get the best quality

Is 70 an 1/8th even a conceivable price anywhere? One of my buddies is chopping at 70 - 80 a 1/4 right now and even that is an absolutely ridiculous price.

Not $70 for an 1/8 of bud, kid was talking about high grade hash oil. You can get tons of shit from dispenceries - bud, hash, oils, keef, edibles. Different types of bud range from $20-$40 per 1/8th.

I have my card and I live in Northern California.

It was RIDICULOUSLY easy to get.

I paid $70 bucks at priceless evaluations in San Francisco (where I'm from) and talked to a "doctor" for like 10 minutes about how my thumb hurt from skiing and I needed to smoke to get rid of the pain and walked out with my card. It's only valid for a year before you have to renew it though.


Bud is pretty accessible. So far, I've pretty much smoked all over the city and haven't had much trouble from the police(SF has a bunch of other problems like crackheads and gang violence so they don't really have time to fuck with/care about weed, plus everyone smokes here). BUT they'll get pissed if you're a dumbass about it and smoke in stupid places i.e. around children, crowded public spaces, malls, etc.

But otherwise its chill and no one gives a fuck. And if they do, they don't say anything and just go their own way cause they're not jackasses.

Oh, and not to disappoint you, but "a weed card" isn't actually a card. It's just a piece of paper that you get.

Also, I've smoked a lot of bud from dispensaries both in Colorado and California and I have to say that CO weed just doesn't compare.

You'll get more bang for you buck with strains from California. Although theres some damn good shit in CO.

The Greenest Green is the only dispensary that can get away prices like that. But they make the tastiest most efficient oil. IMO

No it's not. I know of people who drive back to California every weekend to pick up dispensary bud. It's not that hard to find. You just need to know the right people. Just like with everything.

this is not true. $25 eights are shitty, maybe mids. Or if you're a member they give you one top shelf a month at that price. A lot of places still sell their top shelf bud for $50+.

in canada, shit's so lax you smell it almost everywhere, i often blaze while just walking down the sidewalk, and i've been caught smoking 3 times by police officers, and just told to go smoke it somewhere else, not in the parking lot at the theatre. one time though, we got stopped at a checkstop, which is where they slow traffic down to make sure people aren't drunk, and the cop could tell we were high, and he was a dick, so he pulled us over and told us to hand over the weed, but we had none, we'd already smoked it all, so he couldn't do shit except toss our empty buster down the sewer like a dick, which was fine cause homie needed a new one anyways. it's decriminalized here, which means you can't go to jail for it like you can in the states, but it's not legal which means cops will just tell you to smoke it somewhere else if they catch you with it.

I've been to places all over Colorado, (even in Durango a while back, and I bet it was at least $50 an eight there). And you can only assign one place as a primary care giver, and they usually only hook it up a little bit. Not saying you cant get decent bud here and there for a good deal, but the higher end places still sell their finest product at a premium. And $35 an eighth for a primary care giver isn't the same as go anywhere and get the best weed for $25, so lets not move the goal posts.

Its easy. My friends have green cards and all they did was set up an appointment with a certain medical marijuana physician and then they went in and said they had chronic pain. It has to be chronic so say your knee or back has been hurting for a year and you have been to the doctor and they aren't really sure what is going on and you would like to try alternative medicine. My friend always gets free shit when going to a dispensary and its top shelf so you basically make the money back that you payed to get a green card.
