Need help to find a product to sell

I'm in college right now, and for my class, we need to create a new product or find something that is already existing and change it a little.. The goal of this is to be able to produce the said product and sell it.

We need some ideas to know what would be the best things to sell.. it can be things like sunglasses, watches, iphone cases, jewelry, and other accessories.. or something completly different!

Of course, if we take your idea, we are gonna give you some $$ on paypal for the help!

first identify something that most of your demographic need or want for around 10-20 bucks. take a survey then which ever gets the most make. A kid at my school did this for his class and made drawstring backs for like 2$ a piece then sold them for 10 thats a 500% profit

Well i just bought a new pair of shorts and was debating on sizes, and so i was thinking what if there were measurements on your belt so you always know your waist size. You could make the belt resemble a measuring tape for the design. People might just think it's a cool design, but what they don't know is that it serves a purpose. I'm not saying you wear them every where, but maybe just wear them when youre going to get new clothes. There's my ingenuity for the day

start an exporting business. not so much a product, but you could act like the middle man for a lot of companies/stores that don't ship internationally due to the hassle of customs work.

dude this is a sick idea, people in the elevator would be forced to stare at the machine of candy, soda, etc. The temptation would be too much for people to resist.

instead of chairs made from old skis... loveseats made from old skis

Steel Shwoods idea and make sunglasses out of old skateboards, but make iphone cases too. basically, anything that can be made out of wood, make it out of used skateboard decks.

You can make skateboard sunglass cases for your skateboard sunglasses.

bottle openers on cool stuff such as skis, skipoles, skiboots, skateboards, etc.

skipoles could be sold as one but for the other ones you could make DIY kits where buyers can mount it themselves ....

make some different colorways and i think you'll find someone who's interested ....

(make em with flat and curved mounts like the gopro mounts ....)

Alright I've got a product here that's the tits. So here's what you do, you make thousands of home loans without concerning yourself too much about the credit of the borrowers. You make a lot of them and get them into houses that you appraised for a future projected value. That way even if they can't pay you'll just take the house and sell it. You'll come out ahead since home prices are always gonna go up. Anyway once you make all these loans you can group them together and sell them off to investors. You can create a pecking order among investors so that the first to invest get the first payments from the borrowers. That way the first shares of these pooled mortgages can be rated as AAA by the ratings agency. That means that mutual funds like pensions can buy into them. After all the only reason you would need to be worried is if a lot of home prices went down at once, and there's no way that will happen! You'll make a killing with hardly any risk!

Did no one else realize that the carbon fiber soda machine would just make it easier to steal the entire thing?

but now for my idea. We had to create our own product for my public speech class. Me and my friend brainstormed a little and came up with the idea of photochromatic (change color in sunlight) contact lenses. Not only do they come in prescription lenses, but you can also just get a pair with no vision altering lenses so its just like sunglasses you never have to take off. They came in polarized and non polarized and they are completely invisible to anyone else so it doesnt look weird when you are wearing them.
