i have a chance to get some from my shop cause my friend's boss is ordering 2 pairs and he gets one and i can get one for 800 bones.. i think its worth it but im not sure, suggestions?

dude, i hope your joking, unless your going to be in chest deep snow up in AK i would say dont do it. thats just too much ski for what you'll probably be riding, unless im wrong and you live in AK.

chances are i would use them like once a year but i would get them and sell them for more or treasure their beauty.. would anyone by them for more than 800?

if you didn't live on the east coast, I might say maybe, but there is no need to waste $800 for the east coast. YOu can use the money I'm sure for something else

neither do i but they are and prophets are sick so i would either keep them until i move out to some serious powder, no not vail faggot, and ski them or i would sell them for more than 800 but i dont know if i could

oh, just hold on to them until mid season, and toss those suckers on ebay. they will go for a ton. right now they are still possible to get a hold of. in a few months, they will all be spoken 4, and you will have a gold mine. just dont ride them or anhthing.

Nah, you're too small to handle those. Not a lot of people could use them. I'd like a pair, but that's WAAAAAY too expensive, considering 189 Madens would probably work better for me and cost less, and I don't even have enough money for those.

I think you just take your brakes off at that point, mount some salomon 920s, put the DIN on 17 and go at it. Don't have to worry about brakes because your leg will break off before the bindings detach. That's what I'm saying to this kid, he has no idea what these skis are meant to straightline alaskan faces switch, not tool around his local resort.

The buying and flipping on ebay idea is a good one though.

You could just use salomon's FAT brakes. I have a pair and if you bent them they would fit the waist on a pair of prophets. Or go old school and use leashes.

are you guys joking, i dont think there is a wide brake out there, normal or bent, that would even come close to fitting a 130mm waist. no way in hell. that ski is made for the big boys, and if your even conserned about brakes you probably shouldnt buy them.

I assume that Line has a brake to go with their bindings wide enough for the ski. But hell man, do it old school and use safety leashes. That's what Line Prophets are about (if you've never used leashes and had a major fall, you have truly lived... There is nothing that pumps more adrenaline than tumbling in the snow thinking that your skis are going to chop your head off) But yea, don't bother getting the Prophets. It's way to much ski for anything less than waist deep.

Don't buy them, its a waist of money. Get something with that 800 you can actually use on the east coast, like a decent video camera or something.

even though it would be rad to have them, dont buy them. its pointless. theres only like 100 of them out there so its kinda a shame that one less pair would be used where you'd be using it, where those skis aren't designed to be.
