the rice is quite tricky if you are doing it in a pot on the stove. Not a rice to get distracted and walk away from! Was it weird buying raw fish from the grocery store then just eating it lol? That part weirded me out a bit.
I've made homemade sushi a number of times and I love it. The first few times I made it I just used normal, plain rice and I couldn't figure out why the rolls didn't taste right. I finally figured out that there such thing as sushi rice that you can either buy or make your own of that has a vinegar mixture added to it.
Dessert sushi = diabetes for me now. Thanks a lot.
I have been making sushi for a while now. My friend started working at a local sushi shop so I can get the hookup for that fresh fish. Anyways, one of my favorite rolls is using smoked salmon. Blending sour cream chives and smoked salmon makes a really good paste which can complement the roll. But I usually just go raw with no soy sauce. Only a streak of Sriracha on the inside
my brother does it and he has it down pat. his sushi tastes as good or better than most places. whoever said sushi is disgusting needs to tell us what you think is delicious, because I think you're whacked.
I LOVE sushi. I was kidding. I do make it here and there. I often fuck up the rice tho. In fact maybe i'll get it tmrw night. All you can eat sushi 13$ down the street. It's a really good place too. Nominated for awards n shit
