I for one am growing tired of the G rap bullshit in everysingle edit. i mean there are so many better songs to put to an edit. check this one for example:

I think the second part of the edit is much better with the song. now this is not a rap hate thread, but i'm just curious what song would you put in an edit ideally?

bonus: i'll take one of the songs from this thread and throw it in an upcoming edit if its worth it ^^

I think classic rock (Zeppelin, Stones, Hendrix) are awesome in edits. Our community needs less thug and more classic rock

Semi related, some needs to make a Webstite that checks if the song you want to use has already been used, so when you put out your edit you don't look like a dumbass using the same song

yes! for edits where you don't pay for music (which there a lot of), although probably pretty expensive to get the rights for a movie. but fuckin eh i want to see some more diversity in edits and more fast paced, rock n roll, fun, gnar inspired park skiing. in other words i want to see the influence that shane mcconkey had on big mountain skiing in the terrain park.

LOL @ People who have never made an edit and don't unsderstand how difficult it is...

But seriously, you can't say a song you'd like to hear in an edit and expect someone to use it. So much goes into song choice and it depends on a mere "want" to see a certain type of music or artist.

Not really man, pick a song that goes with the vibe of the skiing and chances are one of these songs posted or songs you want to use ill fit, It's not all that difficult. I mean you could pick a song first then find shots to put to it too. I have, with my brother made a few edits and honestly it's not as hard as it seems, I mean it takes a half a day or more and you have to find all the good shots etc. but it's not that bad.

I agree about the rap comment as well, all edits I see now a days are songs used from popular edits, because people have no imagination and are lost without someone to copy

i was starting to not hate you so much with some of your recent posts, they were pretty good. but you must make some pretty shitty edits if you just drop a song over your edit and hope it will fit. song choice is possibly the most important part of making a good edit, second only to smooth/good editing
