I feel like this is a perfect example of what happens when blacks try previously white dominated sports. Immagine what would happen if skiing were commonplace in the black community. inb4 basketball

that was awesome, like a fusion of a slopestlye and a skate jam. i think if roller blading had more stuff like thisd (although it might, i dont follow it, therefore it would really just be dead) it would be alot more popular. love how pumped up everyone seemed, especially at the end.

can somebody please explain to me why most of ns, skaters, and bmx'ers hate rollerbladers? sure being able to say 'fruitbooter" is fun but that was a pretty sick comp.

In real life ive never actually came across any hateful skateboarders or bikers. Once you start doing tricks they all seem to think it is sick. I dont understand how skiiers think rollerblading is lame.... it is the closest fuckin thing to skiing.

yea i dont understand why skiers don't like them either.

it was funny i was watching tosh and he had the skater kid who got hit by a car on, and asked him something about rollerblading, where the kid laughed and said something about them being fruitbooters. funny stuff, then tosh made fun of scooters

actually most people (if not all) find landing switch is easier to ride away from.
in fact landing forward on gaps is a newly popular thing.. i remember not to long ago everything had to be landed fakie or else it "didnt count."

idk why but rollerblading looks fucking stupid to me. its like the worst part of skiing. no style, hucking shit, spinning around with your limbs flailing about and landing all wobbly and shit.

yuck. i get that it's probably technical, but it looks fucking stupid. zero style.

i kinda know what you mean.. i feel like a majority of rollerbladers arent focused to much on style, but some skaters are SOOO fuckin steezy and have loads of style.. I wish it would catch on more.
