Who Here Likes Country Music?

I know, odd question, especially on NS. That being said, we've been gettin' our redneck on while building, performing maintenance, and prepping camp for the summer season, and we've found ourselves jamming to a lot of country. IMO it's just good working music, especially some the older and more traditional stuff like Willie Nelson, David Allen Coe, Merle Haggard, Hank Williams Jr. etc. Of course we love our hip-hop and rasta jams for skiing, but we were just curious to see who shares our view on country. Share your opinions and favorite country jams if you have any!

I like all kinds of music or at least can appreciate it, I hate that new age shit. I like the classic country like Cash, Waylon, Hank Williams II, some George Strait.

Not really that big of a fan. The only kind of enjoyment i get from it is the party songs or the more upbeat songs. Other than that it just all sounds the same to me.

I would say i love country/western music. But the new stuff is just as stupid as rap. Most songs go like this "work work work, truck truck truck, beer beer beer, girl girl girl, fight fight fight, beer beer beer"  It just all sounds the same.

I do love all three, but not every fucking country song has to be about the same god damn thing especaily if the whole medium is based off telling a story.

Female country artists sing the same shit too......these days its all revenge songs, or songs about getting cheated on. Just a pop version of Woman logic.
