The Route for the 2012 Gumball 3000 is up and looks like a sick route.

If your close to anyone of these stops Show up and check out some amazing cars. plus Jon will be there to so go and say hi.

I went to the Toronto Stop 2 years ago and it was awesome.

yeah they stop at the end of every day. im pretty sure you can get pretty close to each of the cars once they are parked. when i went in 2008 it was super crowded so my brother and I just chilled and watched them drive by. still got within 20ft of all the cars as they went past.

i think it started off as a race yes, now i don't know if there is a point to winning a stage except for bragging rights.

I see it as a traveling car show where you get to see cars that you may not otherwise get to see. i mean how often do you get to see a Buggatti Veyron in Toronto. or an Audi R8 with a ski rack for that matter.

i've seen r8s, Farraris, and the occasional Lambo. the only time i have ever seen a Veyron in Toronto was when gumball came through last. and although Jon's r8 isn't one of a kind. its a hell of a lot different than the standard model i see all the time around the gta.

It used to be back in the day more about the actual race. My dads 2 best friends who I call my uncles did it a few times, twice in a rented Mercedes and the other in a built gt3000 with 600 hp. They used to race from city to city and then party in 5 star hotels, wake up and do it again, they got 8th one year in the gt3000. Then too many people found out about it and now its more of a media circus with spectators.

The new version that isnt as well known and more race oriented is the Gold Rush Rally put on by L4P, thats all west coast however

yup, just saw his update on facebook too, fuel pump is busted. He was winning most of the checkpoint-to-checkpoint trials wasn't he? Such a bummer :(

I live in Kansas City and went to the stop at the plaza. Super fucking awesome. I also have videos of the cars ripping around the track. The SLR and that 1,200 hp M3 just tore that track the fuck up! Will have the videos uploaded soon.

Talked to the guy who drives the PlanB R8 and he is super fucking chill. I got to sit in it, sooo fucking nice!!!

The owner of this 1,200 hp bmw is super nice. Car has a $40,000 wide body kit on it and is worth $250,000. I have a video of this car taking off at the track and ripping by at 150 mph+, will upload soon :)

Check my pics I uploaded. Maybe they trust every one here in KC. But at the parking garage where all the cars were stored at, there was no barriers what so ever, I got to touch his R8 and the Veyron and every car there :3 I even got to sit in a lambo and another R8 because I made friends with the guy who owned it.

I had the perfect chance to do it, only if I had a NS sticker. SHOOT!
