Anyone going to Penn State or already attending?

I just committed to PSU - main and I don't know anyone that goes to that school.
I from Boulder so I'm used to the college town atmosphere and shit but I heard it's pretty small.
How's the school in general and more importantly hows skiing?

Oh yeah and fuck it im fine with the rape jokes but if anyone could give me some quality answers too thatd be chill

Tussey is 5 minutes away and there are busses that run there but its a small hill.

Go with Seven Spring over boulder if you want a real park to ski, but that is 2 hours away as is boulder. Tussey is close, so you would be able to ski every day there though. MikeUrich is the park managerish or something like that there so you might be able to get a job on park crew and ski for free there.

Seems like skiing is not that big of an issue. Hows the town tho are the residents chill with students?
Also I chose North for housing but I heard that shit doesn't fucking matter. And I did 4 for meal plan will that be enough

my brothers a sophomore there and he loves it, everytime ive gone to visit ive had a pretty good time but the people and vibe wasnt for me...and although both schools party, the people/scene at penn state is going to be way different then boulder

My roommate went there, and loved it. His advice is on the dorm application where it says special requests, make sure you request to be in the Penn Island Building. It's a wet dorm (not dry) so you will be drinking a lot!

As a PA resident, I can tell you for sure that Penn State is an awesome school - the people, campus, atmosphere, and town are all great. I've known people to definitively against going to Penn State and then spending a weekend out there and completely changing their minds (my friend's sister did this last week, now she's going there next year. Same thing happened to my brother's ex) However, PA skiing sucks, but if you're just into park it won't be horrible.

I'm curious though, why Penn State?

NOT NORTH.
There is no social life at north and everyone there is an artsy student. At least in the dorms up there.

And if you plan on drinking and smoking get a level 5 or above. You will mow down food.

all jokes aside its a really fun school. the other skiing option no one brought up is ski round top.. They're about an hour and a half from campus. they have a dope park and crew, look that the Roundtop Weekends videos they have posted here.

Fuck mobile, what I was going to say is the atmosphere just wasn't for me. I have spent multiple weekends theire but I just never liked the vibe. It is a fun school overall though.
