Whats everyone producing in here?

I'm doing a lot of dubstep and rap beats, also some house. Really into Excision and Datsik and Downlink and those guys, but also older stuff. Not getting anywhere close to that level of production though lol.

I'm producing a lot of sample-based hip hop, with synths and wobbles worked in. Some of my songs are more bassy than others, depends on what i'm in the mood to make.

yoski what are you stuck on? Using FL or arrangement and music theory and stuff?

right now im into a wide array of electro from house to moombah to downtempo yada yada yada. im taking a break from writing to get better with my synthesis, mixing, and mastering. once those skills are up to par with the quality i wanna hear ill go back to writing and whatever im feeling at that time i'll dPr

There are some really good elements in there man, thats honestly way better than my first track haha. The best advice I could give you is to listen to other peoples' music and try to figure out all the stuff thats going on in one part - listen for each percussion sound, synth sound, sample etc. Then you can start filling in your own stuff with those elements.

Whats your background in piano, have you taken lessons?
