Stupidest thing you have ever done while skiing

probably a repost...

either way mine would probably be hitting a corrugated pipe with new undulled skis (first rail on my new skis), that hurt like hell.

2 weeks ago got wasted in the parking lot. tried to ski park 3 months outta ACL reconstruction. crashed a lot. oh and it was night skiing so the lighting was already kinda iffy.

i skied into five trees in two days, one of them i skied into backwards in a groomer. this all happened while i was in tahoe two days ago.

I had just gotten on the lift on a pow day. My buddy was skiing under, so I thought it would be funny if I knocked some snow on him. Turns out my right ski wasn't all the way on, and I knocked it off, almost landing on my friend.

Mammoth has a margarita (or bloody mary) challenge where you get 7 from on-mountain or close locations and get a free appetizer. We decided to start at 11am after already having 4 drinks. BARELY made it.

Jacket got in my eyes while hitting a 30 ft kicker. Landed and tried to carve to slow down since I was blind and my pole tip caught in the snow and slammed the handle into my adam's apple and Thyroid. Ended up bruising my thyroid according to my doctor and now it hurts to swallow.

I once was getting on a lift and pole planted my stomach right as I got on. I bent my pole to 90 degrees and knocked the wind out of me. This was all in front of the hot ass liftie I had been flirting with for an hour. She laughed her ass off as I had that weak ass groan you get when you get the wind knocked out of you

I once did a 180 off of a rail when I was going for a 270 and tried to casually ride it out.... Ended up going into the woods.

Another time, I somehow got all my weight on my outside edge on a cross trail and fell off the cliff on the side of the trail, plummeting into the woods, head first. I couldn't get out without help from my friend.

tried to pop a 180 out of the huge gaping bombhole at the end of a box, caught my tails and landed at 90 slamming my elbow into my chest. This knocked the wind out of me and left me with bruised ribs which still don't allow me to pole with that arm... also broke my finger last year doing a back swap

same lol. i was at sunvalley with my family and there was a line of about 8 kids skiing. i was just learning how to ski switch so i couldnt see where i was going very well and i went right through the middle of their train and took 2 of them out. they were both fine but the teacher got pissed at me haha

Yesterday I was going as fast as i could on the cattrack and for no reason my ski caught an edge and faceplanted going 30-40. It sucked and I basically didnt ski for the rest of the day.

tried to duck under one of the slow down signs that was obviously too low with ski patrol and teachers standing right next to it.

when i was 6, i tried a backflip off a side bump and landed on my back and winded myself...

skiing switch, left pant leg catches on right brake, legs stuck together, i couldnt slow down at first because i didnt realize what was happening..

also in the flat light i couldnt see very well and i pole planted and fell and i hit my mouth on the top of my pole, my tooth went through my lip...this happened two years in a row.

hit this bullshit kicker over a fallen log, didnt think i needed to nollie, but the snow fell through and one ski got cought under the log. I flipped like a bitch and tweaked my knee.

well....my ears have been raped and my eyes have been stabbed.


Also last year I was doing a cross over trail sitting o the back of my skis, looked back at my friend for a split second and BOOM head on collision witha 6-7 year old girl....she did a (this is no exaggeration) misty 540 over me and ate it. She got up and started crying (which is a good sign) and the her mom got their. She wasn't yelling but I could see she wasnt very happy....I apologized probably 20 times and asked if there was anything I could do. Felt terrible.

I smoked a fatty first day in the trees first run at a mountain I'd never been to and had just gotten my season pass to. Second day ever on my 195 line mother ships and, being 6'4", I was fucking loving them. Proceed to duck the rope on a freshly opened (this mountain has funky rules) side of the mountain and ski down an amazing powder field to terrain that was honestly way gnarlier than the resorts I skied back in my home state. The light was flat and I ended up skiing off a little 10-13 footer, the ground just disappeared beneath my feet in an area where in some places that could seriously hurt you. I stomped flat, luckily there was about 20 or so inches of fresh rain to break my fall so it didnt hurt at all but my forward pressure was off on one of my bindings and the ski shot down the hill hauling ass. The skis are decently wide, long, thick, have a sheet of metal in em, and had all metal bindings so they really got cookin real fast. I yelled SKI at my snowboard buddy who was standing on the left side of this little cliff/rock that came to a point at the top (think ^). He just stared at me like a stoned dumbass and didnt move a muscle. The ski flew off the top of that cliff that funnled into a small a chute /pillow leading into the outrun of the huge chute that all of this is happening in, which is a field that's probably around 100x100 yards then ended in some trees. I looked for hours and never found it. The best day ever turned into a shitty one so quickly, it was a big bummer. I got to take like 2 runs before last chair on this one lift though and the powder therapy along with realizing i wasnt hurt at all made me get over it pretty quick

Hit a pretty scary down flat down donkey dick. Had too much speed, hit the flat, feet slipped out, landed on my tail bone on the donkey dick, slipped backwards from my tail none and landed on my head on the ground.... I was "raped" by the donkey dick
