Full Tilt buckle quality?

i purchased my full tilt hot doggers about halfway through the season and there an amazing boot! but, ive had nothing but problems with them. After about a week of riding them, the right boot the middle buckle snapped clean in half, doing it up tightly is now near impossible. and just a few days ago, my left lower buckle is stuck as tight as possible, making it harder to do up but it isnt as much of a problem as the middle buckle snapping. But im wondering if this has happened to anybody else?

they suck, replacing them with metal ones is a pain but its worth it

It took me 5 minutes to replace a buckle. Not the biggest pain in the world.

Switch them in for metal buckles. I still don't get how their top selling boot has shitty plastic buckles.

Thanks guys, its not really the time and effort of putting them on, but to replace every buckle would cost like 120$

ive had to replace 13 buckles, all of them metal, FT's durability is fucking terrible

this, you will have to replace some buckles anyway because ft buckles durability blow. I broke 2 buckles at the same time after only 1 month of riding... really good performance but poor durability

real shitty. first day on my doggers i popped a buckle off. pain in the ass. I dont get why they wouldnt stick metal ones on there best freestyle boot. but thats just my two cents

It seems like a common occurrence, I don't believe the weight difference is to big.. But after spending so much money for this poor construction makes me somewhat angry..

the first year i had them, they were awesome. now on my second season they are just falling apart. and now they kill my feet and they have packed out, should i go get them re molded since they have only been molded once?

through wearing them for so long they automatically mold to ur feet heat molding just does the job quicker, heat molding them again would have no effect

the quality of "intuition" foam that FT uses barely qualifies to have the name intuition on it, where as Dalbello for example uses a much higher quality of Intuition's foam, such as you would find on their aftermarket liners.

The buckles are shit quality, I've broken 3 this season. I think you can heat mold them up to 3 times, it DOES help when they get packed out. I haven't baked mine this season yet, but I need to. I'll probably just replace the liners in the future if I need to. Comfort over durability!

i've gone through 6 buckles, a cable, and that little black plastic thing where the bottom buckle's cable attaches into.

love the boots, hate the buckles :(

exactly, the boots are made cheaply but they perform so well, if i ever buy another pair im getting metal buckles!

I've broken 3 metal buckles. It was always the metal hinge pin that would work its way out until the buckle finally fell off. The springs inside break constantly, but they don't really affect things when the buckles are done up.

the pin on my top buckle broke, now i cant tighten it or it flies back after half a run. kind of a bummer

i have somewhere in the 260-285 day range on mine

the buckles are getting reenforced for the 13/14 season though just so everyone knows, was told that by the line/ft rep when i was complaining to him about my troubles with the boots
