How can I prove that someone stole from me?

So in English class yesterday I had my iPhone and beats wrapped around it in my backpack. A kid sitting next to me took it out of my backpack and stole the beats. I didn't see him take the headphones, but I did see him toss my phone back into my bag. I didn't really think too much of it because he does shit like that sometimes. Later that day I discovered my headphones were missing and I had no idea where they went. I searched everywhere and came to the conclusion that this kid stole them. Other people in my class confirm that they saw him unravel them from my phone. I have confronted him about it and he still denies it. Do I have enough proof to go to the school about it? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Find the receipt for the beats and get eyewitnesses o him stealing them. Try to find a recent picture of him with beats if he posts it on face book. Take him to court. If he can't provide a receipt than fuck him he has no case

you dont need proof to beat the shit out of somebody. then when he tries to get you in trouble tell him "well i cant prove you stole my shit, you cant prove i kicked your skull in. lets just call it even and if you ever do shit like that again ill kill you"
