Is 98mm underfoot to big for park? Rosi scimitar
Hey so I'm thinking about ordering some skis they have good specs but there 98mm underfoot I was wondering if I would have problems with this? Please give me some info
scimitars are super fun park skis. i use them about 50% of the time split with a s4.
also gear talk br0
98 isnt even that big, 130mm hellbents work fine in park even
Word thanks and yes I went to gear talk haha
yeah ive seen people who fucking shred using hellbents
Absolutely 100% loved my scimitars. Fucking perfect park ski, wish I didn't snap mine being an idiot. Literally the perfect jump ski, rails they're a bit big but didn't really limit me at all
i ski 95 waist patents on pretty much 80% rails 20% jumps and they're fine
helllls no! sounds like a perfect ski
P White skied his entire After Dark segment on Scimitars. They probably work in the park
alot of shots were on the sickle as well
j-mo rides shoguns which are pretty fat underfoot.
my favorite skis for jumps that ive ever owned were 188 moment tahoes with a 96mm waist. they killed it
I know I ordered um off evo
i want to note that the 185 is 98mm and the 178 is 96mm.
i rode the 178 rossi sick birds for about 4-5 seasons and skied pretty much everything with them. I loved them in the park, stiff enough to be stable but the wider waist helps alot on rails without making them feel too bulky. Given i was on teles but i had no complaints
i ride them for park. no, they are not too wide.
bigger waist often means softer landings, but the added swing weight can be noticeable when in the air
Ive skied Line Mothership and Armada ARVs as a 100% center mounted park ski. I loooove fat sticks in the park!
Dope I got um in 178 that sounds perfect how does the rocker feel?
I use a 113mm under foot for park... actually prefer it to my 90mm park ski...
find them super playful.
i used then for park last year, didnt have a problem
All times are Eastern (-4)
