We Invented Drinking Games.

my friends and I have recently come up with 2 new drinking games,  or variations of preexisting drinking games i guess.   Theyre fun so i thought i would share:


1. Waterloo   (since we invented it while visiting friends at University of Waterloo in ON) 

- round one is elimination flip cup style:   everyone plays one cup of flip cup and whoever is last to flip it single out.
- round 2 becomes 1 vs. all.   the single player now has a full cup (standard red party cups) and they must play against the entire remaining team who each have a standard flip cup amount of drink.\
- the 'team' plays normal flip up rules,   drinking only when the person before you has flipped successfully.
-  if the single person finishes first they get to choose the next person to be singled out.
- once youve been it you are out of the game, regardless of whether you won or lost.  this ensures that the game gets more difficult for the single player since there are less opponents.
- if the single player lost, the new single is determined by step 1/elimination.
-  this game can get you f' up.


2. Marshmallow / Mallow     (b/c we didnt have any ping pong balls last night so we used marshmallows instead)

-  2 players play a seemingly normal game of beer pong
-  the spectators get involved by sitting around the beer pong table and make bets on the game.
-  each spectator gets a certain number of poker chips, which they will use to makes bets.
-  any bet can be made,  and the number of chips you bet determines the number of drinks the loser    gets!
-  if someone runs out of chips they can make one last bet: their whole drink.   however, this bet can be called with only 1 chip.   so its a risky bet but very fun.
-   You can make initial bets on winners, and bets can be made on misses or scores,  rim hits,  or you can call a trick shot for the players to attempt.    really anything you want.  the crazier the bet you make is, the more people youll attract to call you,   which can lead to you making a lot of people drink at once!


if you play these games please keep the names ive given for them.   it would be cool if they caught on.

alright so at school we used to always go out on the golf course to drink and smoke and after the course closed in late fall they put up little rope fences around the greens to keep people from walking on them. so in our drunken stupor we cut the ropes and took the little metal stakes that held the ropes up. then we essentially played lawn darts, golf style, throwing the stakes into the air and sticking them into the ground, aiming for the hole in the green. after everybody throws the first time, you go and throw from the where your stake landed, just like golf. every time you throw the stake you take a sip until your stake is in the cup.

be careful, my friend Pat got hit in the head playing this. but somehow he was totally fine.

I'll have to post the rules of drinkopoly sometime.


In short, it requires the largest quantity of the cheapest vodka available, a shot glass per player, and monopoly.


In general, any monetary exchange pretty much leads to a minimum of 1 shot. It didn't happen in our game, but we discovered that should 1 player own all 4 railroads, and someone rolls doubles, landing on one of those railroads, they could potentially be doing 8 shots in one roll.


Game was suicide.

Here in Australia and New Zealand we play a game on ANZAC day, which is the day we remember veterens. Its called 2-up. Basically there is a tosser who has 3 coins on a wooden board. There is a bunch of other people walking around the room yelling like 20 on heads or 10 on tails! and basically you match up with someone else who wants to bet against the opposite. We change this for drinks so that if you say 2 on heads and someone matches you, then when the coins get tossed if 2 out of 3 coins are heads you win and the opponent drinks 2 drinks. However if 2/3 were tails, you would drink as you lost. good to play if you have a large room of people.

Me and my buds play JAILBAIT...intense drinking, games last about 10-20 mins and youll have anywhere from 4-14 beers. Words cannot describe the insanity!

shotzkey, play NHL 2012 and every time someone scores the other person takes a shot, the loser also has to shotgun a beer after the game.

fucking love this game.

we also call it boom (yell boom when you slap i guess), rage cage, stacker (put your cup in theirs if you lap them instead of slapping it, gets harder and harder to bounce the ball in as the stack of cups gets ridiculously tall), or mordor.

variation i play is speed quarters. instead of a ping pong ball and red cups use shot glasses and quarters. stack cups is two shots, pretty much same rules

"Cunty"

Everyone puts a beer on the table. One person spins a quarter in the middle. That person calls someones name. The name called has to hit the quarter at a beer. Whomever's beer is hit has to drink. In order to determine how long that person drinks, you spin the quarter again, and they drink for however long it spins. The player can elect to stop the coin upright, in which case they have to finish their beer. Gets absolutely fuckin rowdy

- Blocks are allowed with your index and pinky fingers, but no others.

- You can call you own name, but if you miss the shot you have to finish your beer.

Just heard about this one, and conveniently im hosting a pool party tonight: "Swim Cup" :   Players start at deep end of pool,  cups are at shallow end.  Players dive in and race to the other side,  drink and flip cup,  then race back and tag teammate to go

i used to play the game "everybody drink." whenever anybody says "everybody drink," everybody has to drink. that's as far as my creativity has gotten in regards to drinking games.

Freinds and I tried to turn setback into a drinking game but by the third round we couldn't remember te trump card no matter how many times we reset it and that kind of ende out setback drinking career..

I always liked to play beer ball.

Beer pong table, teams of two, each player puts a full opened beer upside down in front of them. Each player takes a turn throwing a ping pong ball at an opponents beer. If it hits, you get to flip your beer over, open your beer and drink until the other player fetches the ball and tags the table saying "STOP". If they get there before you even crack the beer you have to stop. You continue until you have very little beer left. If your opponent hits your beer over and it spills/falls off the table, you need to replace it with a full beer upside down. Object of the game is to finish your beers.

It gets really competitive really fast. Plus if you have good aim, we play throw as hard as you possibly can, makes for a more interesting game

It's all about beer darts. I fucking love beer darts.

You set up teams or you can play in a triangle with 3 players.

Rules:
-You make sure you beer cans are the same distance away and proceed to throw your dart at the other team's beers.

-If you puncture their beer, whoever's beer it was is required to pop the top and shotgun it to until no more beer can pour out of the hole made by the dart.

-If can is hit twice, that person needs to shotgun/chug the rest and they are out of the game.

-If a beer can is punctured an inch or less from the bottom, that person needs to shotgun the entire thing and they are out.

-Every remaining player only gets only one dart per turn, regardless of how many teammates are left.

-The last team/player last standing is the winner and "holds the lawn".

This is by far my favorite yard-drinking game.

Also, it is difficult to "hold the lawn" because the more games you play, it is inevitable that you will get drunk because you need to finish your beer at the end of each game if it is at all punctured in order to get a clean restart for the next.

It's a good break from beer pong and if it's a smaller party, things get hyphy fast.
