Desperately need urban 270 on tips

so ive developed some problem and its driving me insane because i have a huge railjam sat night. whenever i do urban 2 on (coming from the left side and spinning normal not lip) i get the rotation perfect but land on my heels/tails and just fall off the rail or sometimes if i get lucky slide it sketchily but can never get a spin off or anything.

the crazyest shit to me is last season and the begining of this season i had them on lock and got a few pretz 2s out to /claim. I dont get what im doing wrong. All i can think of is when i pop i pop to the left away from the rail? i go in at the right angle and i try to be as patient as possible but somehow i still land to the left. I tried like a good 8 times today and failed every time. i was thinking tomorow to like practice by just doing 180s over the rail and nutting a few times to get myself to atleast pop over it right? Also i can do them on rideon boxes easy just not downrails if that helps.

So any tips/help/advice/ comments to help? Ive never been so pissed with skiing before lol

I'd say just try to pop more evenly, or pop up more, rather than force your momentum to one side or the other. maybe a little more speed too?

I just tried to blind 2 on onto a bench and caught my shins and turned purple and swelled like a mofo and bled. Ouch

just pop towards the rail like you are just about to 180 on and make sure you are set. look down at the rail the whole time and spin your last 90 in the 270 right before you land. If you are looking at the rail you will land on it. Hope that helps!

You need to pop harder and make sure you get the 2 correct. If you are coming off on your tails, try to pop over more and come off toepress side. If you are pretzeling it but you cant get a continuing 2 it means you need to set a bit harder and pop well and get your spin around so when you land your shoulders are open to the rail. You are pretzeling because your upper body hasn't caught up with your lower body and your back is at 180 and your legs are at 270 so its easy to revert. Maybe try to pop a 3 over the rail first to feel out the spin. Then just remember to pop over and on and set your spin well. Keep you head up too don't look at the rail. speed helps

It sounds like you are coming into the rail at too much of an angle. Try straightening out your approach more than you think and pop a little more. Do this and you'll get it.

i had the same problem last year, and the best advice i can honestly give you is man the fuck up and grow some hairs on your sac. don't take offense to that, im not trying to be a dick thats just the only way i can explain it. if you think about it too technically you'll keep coming off every time so just commit to getting over the rail by setting the spin and getting your tips over it, then continue the spin. Don't keep your arms at your side, swing those motherfuckers with momentum. like i said, i had the same problem as you last year and i can tell you its not a technical problem with angles and foot placement, i was just bitching out and wouldn't get myself over the rail. its all in your head man you got this

Start with a wider stance, pop off your feet flat, carry more speed, aim to land further down the rail, land on the rail with your skis set for your trick off.

this prolly helped the most lol, but like it was weird on the lift up my 2nd run of the day i had like a mental flashback on how i used to do them and then first try today i stomped it :) Basicly i think i was just spinning way to early and hucking way to much like a little bitch. Now i just pop hard over the rail like im hittin it regular and then do my 270 real fast. i dont even know but i got it for the most part so ya

Your Problem: keep landing on my heels when doing 270 on.

Your solution: Keep doing same thing. Get frustrated. Ask NS.


Obviously you need to change your approach, pop, whatever it may be to adjust for the angle.

its all in your head dude, the trick isnt that hard..its just scary as fuck to commit to and do, just focus pop and commit and i guarantee youll land the 2sev on
