Afterbangs. How buttery?

I'm buying new skis, and Afterbangs are as of right now the cheapest. Are they the most buttery out of all the LINE skis? And what's your thoughts on this years Afterbangs NS?

Haven't had any other lines, but i have the a bangs and i like em reeallll nice. Despite all the hate on here (trolling or not) I really enjoy them

Afterbangs are very buttery, but the masterminds are softer.

I really like them when I'm trying to butter. But if I lean back after I land a rail a little, ill start to butter. Very annoying. Overall they are quite a sick ski, and really soft.

I rode my friends for a lap or two... sooo buttery holy. Even landing a bit backseat is sketch, but other then that they are great for nose butters and jibs. If you like rails, go for them!

I wouldn't buy them if I were you. I'd save up your money and go for a pair on Chronics. Definitely Line's best ski out there. Pretty stuff, but great pair of skis

Love mine such a fun ski. Don't get them of your a big jump person. They can hold up on small jumps but not big ones, but they are so much fun on rails, boxes, and other assorted jibs

this is what pretty much half the skiing community here ride, and ive seen some pretty dope shit thrown down on them, never rode a pair, but they seem to butter like theyre on a nice steamiin pile of flapjacks.

Abangs are a good price point, but they are noodles. Absolute noodles. Straight lining down anything choppy is mad sketchy, even for someone my size (5'8" 140). Get some Anthems of you can. They're a bit stiffer (at least the 09 ones), but almost as poppy and they're wider. Same weight basically. Oh and the anthems don't give you fucking splinters.

Ok, heres the rundown on a-bangs.

1: The flex is soft and shitty. If you don't ski aggressively, big jumps, or pipe, ok...

2: The base is one of the worst in the industry. Do you like going fast? Do you like clearing jumps? no? ok...

3: They're on the heavier side of things, don't care? ok...

If you make it through that list and are still convinced you want them, then you'll be fine with them. Otherwise, I think the skis are pure taint and wouldn't even hit urban on them.

buttery as fuck

by far most butteriest line ski but they break easy all of my friends afterbangs have broken like 3 out of 3

Pretty fucking buttery. Bases are slow but just throw on some rub on wax every day to keep em fast. Not good for jumps over 35. Im in my second season with mine and there holding up well, but ive heard horror stories.
