hey guys looking for some feedback on my demo reel, for now its a bit shitty for my tastes, im scratching deep for some footage I didnt think of.

tell me what you guys think of it so far, keep in mind its not done.

what needs to stay what needs to go, any pointers? also how about editing techniques: I have to take pre cut edits and put all the missmatching files into one timeline. its a bitch. anyone do it differently?

it's not a ski specific reel, i'm sure he wanted to show his ability to film different types of things, not just skiing.

^this but there is also a second shot of the golfer in the black shirt that is almost identical to one before it seems kinda pointless to have them both as the composition was hardly diffrent.

The shot of the guys face was already planned for removal, thanks for pointing out the golf shot il get that out. What about the strength of the shots, do you guys feel its strong enough.

If you insist on using film burn, I say you should only do it once.

the bitch is Im using pre edited footage and I sometimes put a burn on an asthetic moment. so all of these edits that had one or two burs max, end up piling on and creating many burns.

You have a very nice variety of shots but you really need to consolidate it. Someone writing checks doesn't have 3 minutes, get it to 1. It will leave them wanting more, and thinking there is more. Right now it's like you're giving them everything because some of the shots are repetitive.
