Am I the only one that thinks POV isnt tht cool

I feel like POV (especially helmet cam shots) just aren't that interesting to watch. I've only seen like one or two POV videos that I really liked. I still think the gopro is cool for fallow cams but whenever someone has it on there head it just makes me dizzy.

its cool and it can be done correctly. definitely some shoddy stuff with them though

i totally agree. i dont think it looks cool at all anymore. what im really into right now is the pointed back at yourself angle when the gopro is on your pole or something. yeah

Yea tht stuff is cool when is blower but on like a park jump i dont think its tht great

I'm tired of it in skiing and action sports.  I think in films when used properly it can be cool.  I enjoy it when I go do something I think is remotely cool since I'm the one with the camera always haha.

i like the ones where you mount it to a rotating pole on your pack for bc so you kind of have a 3rd person view...but yea not so much in park

That was really nice. He didn't do much with the footage and he really didn't need to at all, it just flowed. I bet that same edit with a follow cam wouldn't have been nearly as enjoyable, kind of interesting.

Depends on the skier really! badass POV in pow/big mountain is sick no matter what, park is meh.
