Teaching 450 out

I teach at a local ski hill, and we have a nice up box and i started to fool around and did some frontside 450 outs on it a kid who i teach then asked how he can do one and i kinda just told him to huck it ... it didnt work and he couldnt get past a 270

any legit tips i can tell him?

tell him to throw his head around cause it will keep his eyes off the landing, and tell him to throw his shoulders/torso around because it will give him the rotation he needs

set your front foot inside edge hard on the box, use your head and shoulders to guide the spin but use that scissor to set yourself off of the box.

scissor harder. And then huck it. Don't keep ur head down

Got front 4's yesterday for the first time. I found that I just had to scissor the rail a lot harder, and then just pop a little more. Also, now that im reading about how to actually do one, the point of keeping your head moving and not spotting is a good one
