Anyone hate new ski boots?

I just got a new pair of boots today and i forgot how shity they feel when you first get them, anyone else feel the same way? ha

Worst feeling ever!! The first couple days with them is massive hurtage and sore feet. But then they're phenomenal!!

happens to every boot. I got custom heat-fitted liners with custom footbeds and they still hurt for 3-4 days, eventually hurting less and less time after i put them on, until they were just like shoes. takes time to break them in, but it is oh so worth it!

I got new boots, never heat molded, first day skiing no problems and since then none. Just put them on how they were and that was that.

When I first sued Fulltilts, there was a little pressure point on my shin from a part of the shell poking into a certain area.  Once they got broken in though, I have no complaints other than a little arch discomfort only when the season starts.

after the first 2 days in my new Full Tilts, I seriously thought I broke my feet. I couldnt walk anymore at all... but now theyre all cool and comfy :D

Depends on your foot and the shoe i guess, I bought new SPK and it was quite tight the first few days but now i'm so good in them.

ive only got 4-5 rides on my new nordicas hell & back and they sucked ass on day one. but now there comfy and warm. i dont hate my ski boots anymore.

yeah, ive just been like wearin my new boots around the house haha, trying to get used to them as quickly as possible but ican only bear them for like an hour then i gotta give em a break

I hate breaking your feet into ski boots in the beginning of the season probably more than breaking in new boots. I don't know if anyone else has this problem but I do. First 3-5 days of the season my feet fucking kill from adjusting to skiing again, mostly my arches and the sides of my feet. It's so frustrating because you've been waiting to ski all year and the pain makes things harder than it should be. Then magically all is well and you can spend all day in ski boots. It's fucked up.

Heat fitting does help, but actually it does must less than people think, you've just got to wear them (break them in), give it about ten days or so, and get a custom foot bed for added comfort.

I get round this by skiing dryslope over the summer but if your wondering what it is, its because your feet spread over the summer wearing foot thongs and loose fitting trainers. If you get tight properly fitting trainers and wear them over the summer you wont get those early season boot pains or you could just live with it.
