heres why

very novelty, no one wants it

31.9 full frame sensor camera of any type (non-existant right now, but...)=$2000+

this=more expensive

only pros/prosumers will pay that much

well I know the one already made sucks that is what I am getting at is it would be really sick if they made a better one! haha but I mean it is mostly a novelty item I guess anyways so I don't really care

This, and and just the way the camera market is leaning is these days is just dumb. Small sensor interchangeable lens cameras will NEVER replace the DSLR at a professional level. Yes for consumers their fine, but even pro-sumers/serious enthusiasts, like the majority of members on here, they just aren't the same as using a DSLR.

Also, I skimmed the article/barely read it, but this kinda exists...
