i get pretty bad shin bang these days, cant walk haha

invested in some booster straps but was wondering with my boots :http://www.backcountry.com/images/items/medium/SAL/SAL1831/BRO.jpg

salmon shoguns with 2 buckles should i still be removing the power strap and replacing it with the booster strap...

but really, make sure that your boots fit you and you do up your buckles up tight.

oh and forgot to mention i had full tilts, my foot is really wide, got my fulltilts stretched out, they fitted correctly and everything and didnt do shit all

Yeah just so you know...  People are joking about full tilts, it's a ns-joke, some people think that getting full tilts will solve all shin problems for everyone for ever but they won't, you just need boots that fit you.

To answer your question I'm pretty sure you take off the power strap on your boot and replace it with the booster, aren't there instructions with the strap on installations etc.?

Had the same problem with my tilts. My honest advice to you is to get a proper insole mounted in the boots. Any ski shop that has liner moulding capabilities should be able to do the same with a pair of good insoles. The insoles keep your archs up and prevent your foot from rolling in the base of the boot. This will keep your shin from shifting back and forth and will also correctly align your fib and tib below your knee. I am no doctor but it was such a godsend after I got my insoles fitted, have never looked back..........now I am the best skier on my mountain

i already got my liners heat moulded to my feet, is that what you mean?

also whenever i do my buckles up really tight i end up losing circulation to my feet and legs...

No that certainly helps but is not what i meant, getting mine moulded alone didn't do that much for my shin bang, you need to get custom insoles (they do not come with the boots). They are basically just insoles made to withstand the continual pressure exerted on them when you ski, they are then heated in a similar fashion to your liners and moulded to the base of your feet. The same point applies to your circulation loss, your foot just may be sitting incorrectly in the boot, or you may be doing them up too tightly. Either way get insoles

Have you skiied in the boots yet or do you loose circulation when you wear them round the house?

Your boots are probably too big.
I spent YEARS in pain with shinbang because of shitty bootfitters in England who size a boot to be comfortable for a 1 week a year casual skier and not to actually FIT PROPERLY.

Dropped some cash with a canadian boot fitter who took me down a whole size, blew out 1 toe on my bigger foot, made up custom footbeds and no problems with shingbang since.
And I moved to a 3-piece boot which might be helping too...

I got some technica agent 90s and they have the booster straps and I havent had any shin problems, just make sure your boot is tight and fits well... And booster straps do help

my boots fit perfectly although my left foot is one size smaller then my right but its my right shin thats worse...? confusing as hell :P

ohk well i might go and ask the boot doctors (where i am at atm) for these custom footbed / liners then.
how expensive are these things too?

and i lose circulation skiing and around the house. ive worn them in a bit they aren't brand brand new.
