Ski binding din

hey, my din is at 2 right now. (i know i know, i'm only 90 pounds) i'm intermediate, my best trick is misty 5. anyways, i want to put my din up, but i don't know how high. my friend has them at 5 and we're the same weight, but i'm taller than him. does that change anything? +k for good answers.

and boot sole length on your boot (this is usually engraved on the outside of the heel on your boot):

Take your skis to the shop and have them do it for you. Setting your dins too high could end up badly.

I like to max mine out so i can charge hard all the time.

I ride an FKS 180 XXL at 18 and it ensures maximum steeze.

If you arnt having any problems with them coming off when you dont want them to, the DONT CHANGE IT.

Since you have no idea what you are doing, take them to a shop.

nonono, i do have problems with them, whenever i'm doing butters my skis will pop off, that's why i'm asking. and i do know what the skier level is, i just don't know which i am.

are you beginner, intermediate, or expert? do u ski greens, blues, or diamonds, or in europe its like red for diamonds. experts have higher din settings than beginners because you really don't want your ski to come off when flying down a hill. since your trying butters Id assume your "expert" i would say your din should be around 4 for a park ski.

Take them to a shop. You might need your dins raised or it might just be the forward pressure.

Just grab a screwdriver and turn the toes all the way up to max.


Note: this is my new go-to response to any binding problem, hopefully insuring natural selection of all idiots' knees.


Note note: Go to a damn shop if uou're having binding problems and do t know what to do.

divide your weight by 10. that is your recomended DIN.

eheath needs bindings that go up to 30 then.... but on a serious not, go to a shop. dont really want to take advice over interwebz from people that arent professionals. its like asking a rando at your hill to mount your skiis for you

if this is serious, then play it safe for the first run or so. although it may not seem like much, going from two to four on a din is the same as going from nine to eighteen.
