Ok well my feet are killing me, I skied all day today in my full tilt DAS BOOTERS and my feet hurt sooo bad. I have footbeds in them and still no comfort. My right ankle is swollen and my shins hurt like hell, also my toes are brused from toe bang. The so called "boot fitter" said these boots were good for my feet but I think he was full of shit, so please help me out NS. +k for answers
"No boot "prevents" shinbang. You need to know that not only 1 thing causes it. Examine this list:
-not having a footbed
-boot is wrong size (usually too big than too small)
-continually landing backseat
-having a gap between the tongue of the boot and your shin, either because you have chicken legs or simply because the tongue just doesn't match up to your leg
-boots that are too soft for you
-boots that are too stiff for you
-boots that are too low on your leg
so, if you do the opposite of what I just wrote, shinbang is most likely not going to happen to you. As you can tell, a properly fit boot is your best bet against getting shinbang.
