what to go with?

i'm around 5'8 and weight about 160, i ski pretty much all park and do alot of rails, i skied 159 pe's last seasona and am getting fujatives but i'm not sure to go 169 or 179. i will be center mounting them but i'm scared that 179 will be to hard ski with + spin and shit, but i'm also scared that 169 will look to short and be harder to grab with, anyways, let me know what you think i should go with and sorry for adding on to the millions of post about this but i don't find the other post specific enough.

if it helps...the 169 will actually be like a 172 to 174. K2 measures running length.

well u see i order the old ar5's, twice and they were outta stock, so i said fuck it i'll get the new ones, then i said fuck that to expensive so i was gonna get the belangers but i decided i wanted a ski that would last me so then i thought about 4frnt and THEN i got a quad so NOW all i can afford is fujatives.

i don't know man. i guess if you were skiing a 159 before, a 169 would be a better transition. i'm on a 175 and i'm 5' 7', 120 pounds. with your weight and height i think the 179 would be better for you (plus, if you center mount them they will feel slighty shorter than a 179).

i was on 160s last year, and im going to be on 186s this year. it wont matter because you havent skied in so long that you wont be able to notice a change. well you will notice they are longer, but you will ge tused to it, plus then you can grow into them if you get a bigger size.

haha 160 to 186 and you wont notice... I ski on 188s and when I grabbed some 176 park skis they were like ski blades...

plus if you center mount them, your swing weight will be pretty simillar of you're only increasing by 10 cm. I'd say go with 179 cauz you're gonna get bored of small skis

just do it. seriously 10 cm isn't THAT big of a difference. you'll get used to them after like two runs

get the 179, im about your size and like the longer ski for stability and stuff, i ski a lot more than just the park though so that might matter...

Well, a K2 179 is really a 182-183, so its still quite a big jump. You'll be fine though, especially cause the Fujative mount is close to center anyways, you probably won't notice.
