Meatheads-prime cut

First off i'd like to say that the movie flows super well and is well worth the money so pick it up!

I've seen every movie they've made and I have one little critique and I wanna see your thoughts. Over the last five or so years, new skis, specifically rockered fat pow skis have came into play. Meatheads are notorious for having epic east coast pow segments. One thing I noticed in this years movie (more so than in recent years) is that most of the riders are rocking super fat rockered skis. For east coast pow, I personally think they should be riding somewhat fat skis (90/100 underfoot) with little to no rocker. You can see in almost all the pow shots that they get a face shot and then the skis dive to the surface. It's tough to keep your tips under the snow when there's that much rocker. I liked it better when the meatheads would go titty deep and stay titty deep.

Also, i love the meatheads so this is not a hate thread because I still loved the movie.

yes and i am saying that if they want to use fucking pow skis then they are going to use pow skis

it's a small critique, but if you watch earlier movies like "born from ice" they have much better pow segments without going to Japan.

Those guys don't only ski on the east coast, even though thats where they film with Meatheads. If they have the top-end pow skis for out west anyway, why not use them for east coast pow? Also I would argue fat rockered skis open up more possibilities and maneuverability for skiing powder, making for more interesting segments overall.

valid point actually. I just like when i'm skiing powder and I can keep my tips down, it could just be my personal preference.

It was a great movie, and if they wanna use fattys let them, I wish more people used them in the park just because it looks absurd. It's also probably easier to ski pow. I live in Maine and I have Surface New Lifes, come at me.
