How about a critique on my pre-season edit?

Didn't spend too much time editing, I wanted to finish it before my local mountain opens. Also was only my second time using my new camera, haven't really nailed the colour settings yet.

Heres my two pennies worth: I really liked it and enjoyed watching it. I did think a couple of shots were a tad underexposed but nothing a little colour correction wouldn't sort out and the end was a little abrupt so a few little shots at the end to close the edit out may have been nice, but these are very minor things so altogether very enjoyable.

there were a few shots around 1:40 that the blacks were really crushed, fix that in post if you can. also i think you went a little overboard with the short cuts at the beginning, it worked in a few of them but it got really repetitive. 3rd, it should have been a little shorter i think, it was good but having like 3 shots of a switch up on a little tube all in a row is too many.

you use the beat for cuts quite heavily.  try implementing other effects and techniques on musical hits.

I don't know much about editing and everything, but I liked the video. I always like pre season edits, it shows for a lot more promise of improvement for the end of the season. Looks like a lot of fun too!

honestly, i hated how you always would put a blank black image up in between shots, sometimes for several seconds. those are the little spaces where you can put nice little lifestyle shots showing everyone having fun or doing something related to but not exactly skiing, or little artistic shots of really anything interesting. just filler shots to get a good vibe and keep it interesting and fun.
