Going from 334mm boot shell to 340mm binding adjustment question FKS180's

My current boots are done and the boots I am looking at,  Experience Sensor2 120's, the shell is 6mm longer so I am wondering since I have FKS 180's if I should be fine backing the screws out a little without a remount. I am asking because I know these bindings have some tight tolerances for them to release correctly.
