Killington K57 tickets

ordered six K57 tickets that I can use at anytime besides holiday for this year.. my question is, is there any particular part of the season it usually dump in VT?

january-february is your best bet.

east coast weather is random though

Mid winter january/Feb is your best bet for fresh snow. Killington is also really sick in March/April for spring skiing. Bear mountain has the best bump runs, really steep lines. Park is pretty prime January on.

its really hit or miss for southern vt....definatly early february is best bet for best overall snow conditions and most trees filled in. Definatly try to followin a storm if you want but it will get tracked out extremely fast

On average, March is the month with the largest monthly snowfall.

November - 29 inches
December - 33 inches
January - 52 inches
February - 55 inches
March - 57 inches
April - 24 inches

That said, the past few seasons have not featured the normally hearty March storms.

You're best bet for skiing powder in the east is to keep a flexible schedule and become a weather nerd. Remember that the difference between the best storm and the biggest bust can happen very dynamically and the ability to change plans on short notice is huge.

i would say february is your best bet to have the whole mountain and not get screwed by the weather.

that being said, it could rain on any week.
